I had a client who called saying that his bath tub just fallen through the floor in his new home (new to him). Mold had eaten away the floor from the crawlspace up. Water is an expense for those who live in the city and cannot have large rainwater tanks for some reason. In the house, less water can be used simply by using a mug to clean the teeth instead of letting the tap run, using less water in the bath and limiting the duration of showers. The car can be washed less and driven onto the lawn for washing. Or if the garage floor really needs washing, then wash the car in there and use the run-off to clean the floor.
